    • Open Brother’s official support website and search your model (DCP / HL / MFC / INKvestment).

    • Some models also work with AirPrint for quick setup without extra drivers.
  2. Connect the Brother printer
    • Turn on the printer and keep it close to the Wi-Fi router.
    • Use USB for first-time detection, or ensure both Mac + printer are on the same Wi-Fi.
    • If your model supports it, you can also use Wired LAN for stable office setup.
  3. Add printer in macOS
    • Go to Apple Menu → System Settings → Printers & Scanners.
    • Click the + button and select your Brother printer.
    • Choose AirPrint (if shown) or the Brother driver, then click Add.
  4. Test print
    • Print any document once to confirm setup is complete.
    • If it shows Offline, restart the printer and reconnect Wi-Fi.
