-
Download Brother software (recommended)
- Open Brother’s official support website and search your model (DCP / HL / MFC / INKvestment).
- Download the latest macOS driver package (Printer driver + Scanner driver / utilities if available).
- Some models also work with AirPrint for quick setup without extra drivers.
-
Connect the Brother printer
- Turn on the printer and keep it close to the Wi-Fi router.
- Use USB for first-time detection, or ensure both Mac + printer are on the same Wi-Fi.
- If your model supports it, you can also use Wired LAN for stable office setup.
-
Add printer in macOS
- Go to Apple Menu → System Settings → Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button and select your Brother printer.
- Choose AirPrint (if shown) or the Brother driver, then click Add.
-
Test print
- Print any document once to confirm setup is complete.
